The APD INSPIRATION VISON is a fully-closed electronically controlled rebreather operating with a voting logic ppO2 control system and dual controllers. The unit has multiple redundant and manual override systems on board and the integrated VISION decompression software which can be upgraded to a mixed gas version following completion of a Level II or Level II course.
It is available in two versions:
the XPD with 3 litre inboard cylinders and the EVP with smaller housing and 2 litre cylinders. It is a follow-on development from the established Inspiration Classic and has been successful world-wide since its launch in 2005. Like the Classic, is often used in major diving expeditions effectively.
Options include an OCB integrated bailout, temp-stick scrubber monitor and, most recently a CO2 sensor. It offers sophisticated information to the diver to detect and deal with problems. For this reason a comprehensive, dedicated training is essential.
The IART unit-specific user course, combined with the unit specific IART manual, will prepare you with the knowledge and skills needed to safely dive the INSPIRATION VISION CCR within no-decompression limits to a maximum depth of 40 metres.

The training reflects the standards required by the manufacturer of the rebreather. IART is authorized by the manufacturer to conduct this training. The course manual is constantly revised and improved in consultation with the manufacturer to reflect new developments resulting from technical improvements or gained through dive experience. You will receive the current edition from your IART AP Inspiration CCR instructor.
