The SUBMATIX CCR 100 SMS Rebreather (self-mixing system) is a mechanical self-mixing system that can be dived in the range of 0-40m. The system utilises a depth dependent constant flow dosage and offers the diver a Nitrox mix of 28-32% at all times. The rebreather has 2 x 2 litre gas cylinders (optional: 2 x 5 litres or an additional tank). The cylinder on the right contains 100% oxygen and the left hand cylinder contains diluent (nitrox or Trimix depending on the planned dive depth). The oxygen is “dosed” into the breathing loop via an adjustable flow nozzle (the setting corresponds to the individual consumption rate of the diver). Diluent gas is fed into the loop via an automatic demand valve (ADV). Oxygen can be manually injected into the system via the gas booster. The level of diluent gas can be manually influenced by using the ADV or by flushing the loop.

The SUBMATIX emCCR 100 has electronic gas injection to aid the manual control of a chosen setpoint within a closed circuit loop.

The Submatix emCCR 100 rebreather is designed for recreational dives to a maximum of 40m with Nitrox or for technical Trimix dives to 100m.

The comprehensive IART training reflects the standards required by the manufacturer of the rebreather. IART is authorized by the manufacturer to conduct this training. The course manual was written in consultation with the manufacturer and you will receive the current edition from your IART Instructor.

The IART Submatix CCR – Level 1 course trains and certifies the user to dive safely within no-decompression limits to the maximum safe depth of the Nitrox mix used.
